KVS Representatives to
Speak at NYS GFOA Conference March 29th
Managing Technological Change will be
Topic of Presentation
Williamsville, NY-
March 22, 2007 -
KVS President Ed Warnke and KVS Director of Technical Services Jerry Fonner will
present "Managing Technological Change" at 3:45 p.m. March 29, during the New
York State Government Finance Officers' annual conference.
This year's conference is being
held March 29 to 30 at the Albany Marriott Hotel in Albany, NY.
The event brings together numerous state and local government
finance professionals for an array of educational seminars.
"Managing Technological Change"
will focus on understanding new technology, researching options
and implementing change. The session also will explain how
to ask the right questions of your IT team and of vendors.
A project success story will be presented by Marcus Serrano,
Deputy City Manager and Controller of the City of Peekskill, NY,
a KVS client. Serrano, who is also the city's IT Director,
will present his real world experience dealing with
technological change in Peekskill.
The conference attracts over
500 government attendees from across New York State annually.
