Press Release - For Immediate Release
Ohio Public Libraries Choose KVS Financial
Software
Opens Door for Future Library Clients
Williamsville, NY- June 23, 2006 -
Three public libraries in northeastern Ohio have recently selected KVS
Information Systems, Inc. to provide them with financial software for their
accounting and payroll needs.
After reviewing a number of
competitors' products, the Mentor, Euclid, and
Willoughby-Eastlake Public Libraries recently joined the KVS
client roster list, following in the footsteps of the Muskingum
County Public Library, which became a client in March. The
library venue is new to KVS, as the company typically serves
local government, such as towns, village, and cities.
However, its accounting and Payroll software, for example, are
applicable for any public agency.
The cities of Mentor and Euclid
each have a population of over 50,000 citizens, and the cities
of Willoughby and Eastlake are home to about 20,000 citizens
each, all of whom could have access to the libraries' services.
Muskingum County boasts about 85,000 residents.
According to KVS's Ohio-based
Regional Marketing Manager Bob Milheim, the libraries wanted to
upgrade from their previous software vendor who had more of a
proprietary approach to its products and services. "They
were looking for a more open system with more flexibility and
less expense," Milheim said. "I think they felt that KVS
fit that need, and offered a product that was on the leading
edge of technology with better support." The KVS Financial
Management System's extensive financial reporting capabilities
and ease of use were key factors, Milheim added.
