Town of Greece Selects KVS for Financial Software Needs
Officials Impressed with Knowledgebase of Staff
Williamsville, NY - August 17, 2007
- The Town of Greece in Monroe County, New York, has selected KVS Information Systems, Inc. to provide financial software for their
accounting needs and decentralized purchasing procurement.
After reviewing other competitors, Greece officials selected KVS for a number of reasons. "The KVS system is very user friendly,"
said Rick Pellegrino, Greece Finance Director, about the KVS Enterprise Financial Management System.
"The client references we checked were very good as well," said Barb Chirdo, Senior Administrative Analyst for the Town. "Knowing other clients
were happy with KVS was important to us."
Responsiveness, cost effectiveness, and location were also key factors in Greece's decision, they said. "We have been really impressed with the
staff at KVS," Chirdo remarked.
"We're very happy with the KVS support staff," Pellegrino agreed. "The whole team of sales, support, and technical staff that demonstrated the
software to us was very responsive and knowledgeable."
The fact that local government needs are KVS's specialty was also important. "You can tell that they specialize in the product first with development,
and they care about what we need, especially in regard to things like New York State reporting requirements," Pellegrino noted.
"The main thing about KVS versus other vendors," Chirdo stated, "is that KVS listens and gives you what you need versus what they think you need."
