Press Release - For Immediate Release
Village of Carthage, NY Chooses KVS for
Its
Simplicity
Clerk/Treasurer Impressed with Software Demonstration
Amherst, NY- December 4, 2007 -
The Village of Carthage, NY, located in the Watertown-Ford Drum region of
Jefferson County, has selected KVS Information Systems, Inc. to provide
financial software for their accounting and purchasing procurement needs.
After seeing a demonstration of
the KVS Enterprise Financial Management software, Linda Weir,
Village Clerk/Treasurer, said she was impressed with how easy to
learn it looked. "I had a software program many years ago
that was terrible, so that's why I hadn't been looking for
another one," she explained. "But when I saw the KVS
presentation, " she continued, "I knew it would be much simpler
for me to learn. I actually liked all the features of KVS
software, but especially the ease of entering the information
into the system, and the help button if needed."
Carthage is currently using the
KVS General Ledger, Purchasing, Budget Preparation, General
Receipts, and Fixed Assets modules in its Finance office.
"The training program was presented very well," Weir added.
"I like that I can call or email and get responses in a
reasonable amount of time."
