Western New York Municipal Employees Attend KVS User Conference
Client Attendees Aim for More Software Savvy in the Workplace

Williamsville, NY- May 3, 2006 - Western New York municipal employees came together Tuesday in Orchard Park, NY for an opportunity to exchange experiences and review the KVS software they use every day in their various communities.

The conference was hosted by the Town of Orchard Park and held at the Orchard Park Municipal Building.  Fifteen communities spanning from the City of Jamestown in the southern tier to the Town of Ogden in the northeast section of the Western New York area were represented.  Municipal employees in attendance included comptrollers, clerks, finance directors, treasurers, and accountants.

Budget Preparation, Tax and Utility Billing, Collection, Payroll, and Financial Management software were among the topics discussed.  Software demonstrations were available throughout the day and a review of new enhancements gave users up-to-date information on the latest improvements.

This was the first local user conference among clients using the new Oracle-based KVS Enterprise Financial Management system.
