Financial Systems

the advanced functionality of Oracle's relational database
technology, searching for and managing financial data has never

The Financial Management System comprises the KVS
Budget
Preparation, Requisition,
Purchase Order,
Accounts Payable,
Fixed Assets and
General Ledger modules.
Advanced search, sort, and sharing capabilities are highlights
of the flexible reporting options built in to the Financial
Management System.
The KVS Payroll and Human Resources system provides complete
control over all pay calculation scenarios. Payroll Projection
and Position Control modules fully integrate with this system.
Receivable Systems
Designed for your various billing and collecting needs, the KVS
Receivables systems manage all circumstances of payment
processing.
Utility Billing and
Electric Billing systems incorporate various
rate structures and optional interfaces. For your miscellaneous
billing needs, there’s the KVS Accounts Receivable system.
The Business, License & Occupational Tax (BOLT) module processes
return forms for Business Licenses, Wage Returns, Gross Receipts
Tax, and other revenue sources.
Miscellaneous receipts for fees collected are handled through
the General Receipts system.
All Receivable systems integrate with the KVS centralized
Collection system. Collection handles a variety of payment
methods and situations, such as batch fee and lockbox
collections, on-line bill pay, and delinquent processing and
reporting.
Records Systems
The KVS Records systems cover a wide range of municipal
functions. Permits and Inspections records all data for
municipal permit and inspection requirements.
Citizen Response Manager deals with citizen complaints and
requests, while the Work Order system interfaces with it to
coordinate projects, equipment needed and expenses.
The Vehicle & Equipment system tracks municipal vehicles and
equipment for scheduling and maintenance purposes, while the
Inventory Management system will track all other items stocked.
All property tax assessment needs are managed through the
COMPASS system, while
GYRO handles mass appraisals and
valuations of all real properties. CIVAM is the
commercial/industrial valuation system.
Third Party Systems
KVS partners with a number of third party vendors in order to
provide our clients with solutions for all of their municipal
needs.
Third party products include laser check printing, report
writing tools, mailing services, web-hosting services and more.
