The Accounts Receivable System is uniquely designed

with General Ledger, Collection, and the Business, Occupational, License
& Tax systems.

Business,
Occupational, License & Tax [BOLT]
|
The Business, Occupational, License & Tax System processes return forms for municipality's revenue sources. These revenue sources include: Net Profit Returns, Business Licenses, Wage Returns, Alarm Permits, Gross Receipts Tax, Lodging Tax, Insurance Premium Tax, Alcohol Licenses, and Others.

Collection
|
The
Collection System is based on a centralized approach that manages
various payment processes. Multiple payment methods are
accommodated, as are delinquent, batch fee, and lockbox processing.
Collection assists with tracking, processing, and reporting on
receivable information from utility bills, tax bills, license fees,
parking tickets, and more.

Electric Billing
|
The
Electric Billing System provides complete account billing and
collection for metered or flat rate electric services. The
system has an optional interface to hand-held reading units, and
each account can handle multiple meters and mixed meter types.
Electric Billing is fully integrated with our centralized Collection
system and accommodates deposits, advanced payments, and delinquent
charges.

General Receipts
|
The General Receipts System provides complete control over all cash collected. User-defined receipt types, collection categories, penalties and write-off ability are some of the highlights of the system.

Motor Vehicle Tax Billing
|
The
Motor Vehicle Tax Billing system is designed to manage municipal
motor vehicle tax billing and collection. Vehicle assessments
are recorded and tax bills are produced based on the assessed
valuation.

Real Property Tax Billing
Personal Property Tax Billing
|
Municipal tax billing associated with Real Property and Personal
Property, are managed with the KVS Tax Billing system. Tax
bills are generated and updated to the KVS Collection system.

Utility Billing
|
The Utility Billing System provides a comprehensive method to create and maintain public utility account data. This versatile system has the ability to optimize user-defined meter readings, to interface with handheld reading units, and to provide batch lockbox updating functions.
