Support & Technical Services
KVS Support Representatives are committed to serving
clients in as timely and concise a manner as possible. A
receptionist will always answer your phone calls during business hours
and direct you to support or technical personnel depending on the type
of information you need. The KVS Technical Support Staff will
manage all functional aspects of the installation process and assist
with future upgrades and operations.
We recognize that
training and support are vital, and the KVS Support Staff will
help ensure clients a smooth system transition and long-term
success.
Support Services
Following initial KVS training, refresher
training with support professionals is available at an ongoing
basis. While our toll-free hotline (1-800-999-9KVS)
is open Monday through Friday from 8:30 am through 5:30 pm EST,
KVS also offers online support via this website. In
addition, our support representatives frequently use remote
access tools to diagnose any issues that arise.
KVS distributes all
software updates quarterly and when applicable, our electronic
user manuals reflect these changes.
Throughout the year, KVS clients exchange
similar experiences and meet with KVS personnel at our Regional
User Conferences. A review of the latest software
enhancements is always on the agenda, and clients' questions and
suggestions are addressed and recorded. Each summer, KVS
holds a National User Conference near its headquarters in
suburban Buffalo, NY. Several seminars on a variety of
topics, such as KVS software systems, municipal procedures and
requirements, and third party products are covered.
Technical
Services
A KVS Technical Representative will inventory
a client's system to ensure compatibility prior to installation
of KVS software, and will configure all networking equipment and
workstations. The Technical Staff will be available from
8AM to 5:30PM EST Monday through Friday to assist with system
installation or networking issues.
Additional technical
services are also available with KVS, such as Tech Support Plus,
LanCare service, Remote Backup Storage, ASP Hosting, and WebCare.
These services range from allowing KVS technical professionals
to load updates and patches for you to website setup and
maintenance.
